Using Mentum
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher legal minimum or applicable parental-consent requirement where you live. You must have the legal authority to agree to these terms. Do not use Mentum if local law prohibits your use.
Keep your credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and do not share or impersonate another person’s account. You are responsible for activity you authorize. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Creating an account currently requires an invitation. Invitations, trials, membership access and feature availability are governed by the access shown in the app. An invitation does not grant access to every room or guarantee indefinite access to paid features.
Chats, Programs and control
Mentum provides messaging and user-requested Programs such as notification policies, feeds, trackers, charts, message responses and presentation rules. Available behavior depends on supported capabilities, permissions, room roles and account access. Not every natural-language request can be implemented.
Review scope, explanations, previews and consent requests before activating a Program. An activated Program may run automatically, process future events, send permitted responses or change notifications. You remain responsible for the behavior you request and for using available edit, pause and removal controls appropriately.
AI outputs and meaning-based message matching are probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate. They are not professional or emergency advice. Notification rules may suppress, delay or misclassify messages; do not rely on Mentum for emergency, medical, security-critical or guaranteed delivery.
Shared-room permissions are enforced by the service. Your access can change if a room owner or authorized moderator changes membership or permissions. Private policies do not give you control over other users’ accounts.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain rights you hold in the content you submit. You give the operator the limited permission needed to host, copy, transmit, display and process that content to provide and secure the features you use, including configured AI processing. This does not transfer ownership of your content to Mentum.
Only share content you have the right to share. Respect other participants’ privacy and permissions. Do not submit unlawful content, child sexual exploitation material, threats, harassment, hate-based abuse, fraudulent or impersonating content, malicious software, spam, or material that violates another person’s rights.
Do not bypass access controls or rate limits, misuse invitations, obtain others’ credentials, interfere with the service, or use Programs to automate prohibited conduct. You may not misrepresent automated or generated messages as an independent person’s statements.
Use available block/report controls or contact support to report abuse or infringement. Include enough information to locate the issue without unnecessary sensitive data. We may review relevant reports and records, remove or restrict content or Programs, or suspend access to address abuse, security risks or legal requirements. We do not guarantee that every message is reviewed.
Payments and third-party services
If a paid membership or other purchase is offered, its price, renewal period, cancellation method and any trial conditions must be shown before you confirm. Do not assume an invitation or administrative testing grant creates a paid subscription. Refunds, cancellation and billing disputes depend on the purchase terms, applicable law and the platform that processed the payment.
Device platforms, app stores, authentication providers, AI providers and services you open through links have their own applicable terms. Mentum is responsible for its service, not the independent content or availability of third-party websites. Any applicable app-store license terms also apply.
Availability, ending use and responsibility
You may stop using Mentum or request account deletion. Signing out or uninstalling is not deletion. Shared history and limited operational records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.
We may change features or interrupt availability for maintenance, security, legal compliance or product changes. We may restrict accounts or Programs that violate these terms or put others at risk. Where required by law, we will provide notice and applicable account, refund or appeal rights.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. You should keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a foreign exclusive court, or a waiver of non-waivable consumer rights. Any dispute remains subject to applicable law. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will provide notice of material changes as required by law. The effective date identifies this version. Continued use after an applicable change takes effect is subject to the updated terms, without overriding rights that require separate consent.
Questions, reports or requests can be sent to araujota97@gmail.com. The operator is Tyler Araujo, based in Illinois, United States.
